Last night was perhaps the biggest Superbowl for NYC ever. Did that stop those notorious fashionites from continuing on in their fashion week frenzy? Nope. At the Miss Sixty show last night (8 pm), a very random threesome sat front row together. When I saw this picture on NY Mag's blog the Cut, (which, by the way has extensive amounts of information on all things fashion including bios on the models), I, like them, was a little perplexed. Here's what I gather from above photo: Chloë Sevigny is bored, not particularly fond of the show or the company, Ashley Olsen is devising her plan to take over the world...her sister couldn't come because she obviously has to continue to mourn Heath, showing up at a fashion show could be disasterous on her public image, and Milla Jovovich is wondering how her baby is doing at home, thinking she may be getting too old for this shit. Then again, I don't think it's possible to gage what demure Milla is thinking, this is the same woman that was quoted in October saying:
“I was craving bone marrow one day, and I scoured the whole of Paris searching for the leg of a cow. When I finally found what I was looking for, I cut it in half, digging out the yellowish substance, slathering it all over bread.” [NY Mag]
Let's just hope that this had something to do with her pregnancy cravings. Anyway, fashion week is the time where top celebrities and socialites are forced to act like they like each other, smile incessantly for cameras, and act interested in the runway show, though you know they are more interested in seeing what's going on in the crowds. It's kind of nice to see these three sitting front row together, especially at a show that doesn't really mesh with either of their styles. All three, by the way, have their own fashion lines to go back to.
And, talk about unlikely pairings, artsy-kitschy-headband-wearing socialite Arden Wohl was spotted talking hair with her complete alter ego, preppy-shiny-haired-princess, Olivia Palermo at the Preen show this Saturday.

Now THAT would have been an interesting conversation to overhear, and most likely revolved around Olivia explaining to Arden exactly how she gets her hair to be so shiny.
