Finally making is worldwide debut last night at the MGM Private Screening Room was the indie stalker thriller "Homecoming". White hot starlets and socials - including John Stark, Morgan J. Freeman, Bingo Gublemann, Benji Cohn, Sarah Bradford, Carter Unger, Victoria Stevens, Alexander Wolf, Renee Lutas, Ashley Krupin, James Francis Ginty - turned out for the screening and the after party at Pink Elephant.
The plot is introduces a Mike (Matt Long), a former high school football star who, after a recent trip home with his new lady friend, learns that his high school ex (Barton) has developed a Fatal Attraction - like obsession with him. Despite Barton's absense from the premiere, Director Morgan J. Freeman (not to be confused with Shawshank Redemption Morgan Freeman) told the Daily News, "I hope Mischa is doing okay. My thoughts and prayers are with her. Health first, movie second." Fortunately, the show went on and the audience was easily able to carry the party torch in style.
