It's the end of an era. Today, J.Crew's Mickey Drexler announced that creative director (and full-on brand embodier) Jenna Lyons would be leaving the label after 26 years. "Jenna and I got together and we both agreed it was time for a change,” he told Business of Fashion. “That being said, she’s got plans to do other things. It’s been a great run. There’s a lot of mutual respect between Jenna and me." While the queen of sequins and statement glasses will surely reveal the lucrative new gig she's got next, J.Crew, to us, will always conjure images of the imitable Lyons - her way with high-low, her effortless cool.
