After a harrowing year, is New York ready for the return of glamour?

Michael Kors certainly thinks so.

In honor of the iconic designer's big 40th anniversary, Kors looked to the future of getting all dressed up again, while revisiting all the glitz of the the city's past.

Tapping today's biggest names, from Bella Hadid to Ashley Graham, along with '90s legends like Naomi Campbell, Helena Christensen, Carolyn Murphy, and Shalom Harlow, Kors presented the collection beneath the bright lights of Broadway, turning theater-lined 45th street into a high-octane runway worthy of the occasion.

The virtual presentation was set to a live performance by Rufus Wainwright, who crooned on stage at the Shubert Theatre for the audience of socially-distanced supermodels.

With a spotlight on the theater industry, which was especially impacted by the pandemic, Michael Kors, the company, made a donation to The Actors Fund, a national organization that fosters stability and resiliency, and provides a safety net for performing arts and entertainment professionals over their lifespan. Kors also made a personal donation to The Fund.

And since it wouldn't be the full Broadway experience without a night out at Sardi's, the designer prefaced the digital show with a star-studded short film at the famous eatery, featuring Bette Midler, Billy Porter, Bernadatte Peters, Kristin Chenoweth, and more.
