Olivia Palermo's Rainy Day Look May Not Be Practical, But It Sure Is Fab

by Christie Grimm · October 13, 2020

Olivia Palermo's fans are fawning over her latest rainy day street style snap - and for good reason!

The perpetual It Girl stepped out yesterday - the greyest, rainiest, so not cute-est of days - in a picture perfect ensemble. Though how far she may have made it outside is definitely up for debate.

To begin, Olivia started with a very New York all-black base of straight leg leather pants and a cashmere turtleneck. To really waterproof the look, she then tossed on a blush-colored suede cut-out coat, a wonderful take on texture and impracticality. As a playful reference to her perforated topper, she paired cut-out socks with satin kitten heels (most ideal for tackling puddles), and to finish it all off, she sported a more runway than rain Dior bucket hat complete with a lace veil.
