For me, A-COLD-WALL was first popularized by their frequent collaborations with Nike and other popular mainstream, or streetwear, yielding classic pieces like the A-COLD-WALL Air Force 1s from Nike. However, A-COLD-WALL has had a presence in the streetwear world far longer than I had ever realized: similar to Jerry Lorenzo's ESSENTIALS collection with Fear of God, A-COLD-WALL's focus was to make quality, everyday-wear clothes. Often, sneakerheads would style a heat pair of Js (Jordans, if you're unaware) with a really well-made pair of ACW sweatpants, creating a pure, honest hypebeast fit. Now, it seems, the mainstream fashion world is catching on.
