Queen B isn't the only one making changes at Vogue. Rihanna, one of the most fashionable icons of our time, will appear on the cover of British Vogue's coveted September issue.
And guess what? She is the first black cover star to land on the prestigious September issue in the magazine's 102 year run. Editor in Chief, Edward Enninful, said, "I always knew it had to be Rihanna. When it comes to that potent mix of fashion and celebrity, nobody does it quite like her." Truer words have never been spoken.
Enninful also broke a barrier when he became the first male Editor in Chief of British Vogue. The Ghanaian-born stylist previously held the role of style director at W Magazine and is excited to start this new chapter in his career. He is best known for his inspiring work in Vogue Italia's July 2008 "All Black" issue. He used only black models and the issue later became the magazine's best selling issue. No surprise there.
British Vogue's September issue goes on sale August 3rd. This cover is making history - so don't wait to pick up your copy!
