Finally, something actually worth waiting on one of those ridiculous lines for.
On Friday, cult streetwear brand Supreme launched its buzzed-about capsule collection featuring the famously fringe works of Nan Goldin. Marrying two seemingly polar subcultures - the skate scene and the queer underground - the collaboration is especially interesting, subverting ideas surrounding streetwear culture by plastering iconic images of trans pin-ups on skate decks and drag queens on hoodies.
"Nan Goldin's work is real and raw - in the time, places and subject matter she shot," Supreme told Vogue UK. "It comes from an era where the subjects she documented were taboo by society’s standards. To do this project with Nan Goldin is to celebrate the diversity her work represents and expose young people to it."
Needless to say, the coveted collection sold out almost instantly, but you can place your bids on eBay.
