Taking A Fashionable Skinny Dip At The Soho House

This summer more than ever, when a night comes along that is free of rain, lightly warm and breezy, we suggest just one thing---get yourself outside, asap! If you aren't waiting for the rain to stop in the Hamptons, the Soho House poolside is the one of the best city ways to spend a rare perfect summer night. The great weather was a big plus for the fashion event, Skinny Dip, which featured (this month) the latest summer designs from Juliette Longuet in a show styled by Felix Mercado (founder of SiWS PR) along with live music, performances (some with fire!) and barely dressed dancers. Underneath the clear night sky, waiters handed out tequila margarita shots- probably in an attempt to hand out a colorful (lime green) form of liquid courage. No worries, they weren't potent enough to have anyone fall into the pool or to manifest an actual skinny dip. The night was put together by Say it With STYLE's energetic Nancy Schuster, who while finally taking a small break informed us that she had another kinda rock' client's event to go to. Mario Corrales, JR and Nancy Schuster Kevin Christiana and Felix Mercado We also learned that it was the restroom attendant's birthday last night, so we did tip generously for our paper towel service! Skinny Dip guests included some writers, bloggers covering the event, as well as fashion people such as Project Runway's Kevin Christiana (who is just not that into Bravo's new obsession with housewives), people who want to work in fashion, some of the PR set, and city dwellers who wanted to enjoy an excellent night with fashion and poolside gossip. Speaking of.....later that night, the corner at the Standard's Living Room we may or may not have seen Ms. Renee Zellweger was cozying up with owner Andre Balazas.....
