Stars of stage, screen, and "The City" congregated at The River Cafe on Wednesday night at the after party for Woody Allen's "Whatever Works," which premiered earlier this year at the Tribeca Film Festival. The Brooklyn setting, with its spectacular views of the Manhattan skyline, was an appropriate setting for the party, which celebrated the iconic director's return to the city that made him famous after four years filming abroad. The event, hosted by The Cinema Society and The New Yorker, had many of New York's most famous faces in attendance, including the film's stars Larry David, Evan Rachel Wood, and Patricia Clarkson, and guests Candace Bushnell, Andrew Bevan, and Jay McInerney.
