Come to Water Street, from Fulton to Broad, to take part in the festivities: funnel cake, stuffed animal prizes, carnival games, and all the trinkets and baubles you could ask for. And afterwards, you might be able to sneak into Sonic Youth at Battery Park.
Or go to Battery Park at 9 am to try and snag some of the limited of tickets left. First come, first served, 2 per person. If not, the view from just outside the gate is actually better than half of the standing room in the park. The show starts at 3:30, and it’ll be really crowded.
