The “original material girl,” Madonna Louise Ciccone, a.k.a. Her Madgesty (or just Madonna, to us commoners) has found yet another way to capitalize on her decades-old (yet still crazy-successful) personal brand: A juniors clothing line, entitled (you guessed it) “Material Girl."

Three sketches of the collection were released today, including a dress and two full outfits. The line will include clothing as well as accessories, shoes and handbags. The garments are very true to Madonna’s name and style, with zippers, cross jewelry, bustiers and an overall ’80s vibe.
Team Madge (which includes Madonna, her daughter Lourdes ("Lola") and a contracted design team) says that the “Material Girl” is “all about prints and embellishments in the newest silhouettes. She mixes hard and soft elements, like a tutu dress and studded combat boots, or an oversized boyfriend sweatshirt with a floral print mini skirt.” We’re thinking Whitney Port meets Marilyn Manson meets Pete Wentz… or just Jenny Humphrey.
