This year's iteration of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Gala brought, as always, a whole slew of glamorous looks to the Met's red carpet, and with this year's rich cultural theme, China: Through the Looking Glass, we expected to see lots of luxe, lots of silk, and lots of delicate florals. While we were mostly impressed (hi, Rihanna!), there were plenty of too-costumey, too-sheer, and too-cut-out ensembles that you just have to see to believe.
