He Was The Victim Of A Wine Heist
Remember that story about a personal assistant who stole $1.2 million worth of rare wine from a Wall Street exec? HE's that exec! Back in January, Solomon's former PA, Nicolas De-Meyer, was taken into custody after years on the run. De-Meyer, who worked for Solomon from 2014 to 2016, was tasked with transporting pricey bottles from Solomon's Manhattan apartment to his cellar in East Hampton, but instead re-routed some of it to a wine dealer in North Carolina, and is confirmed to have taken seven bottles of Domaine de la Romanee-Conti - worth nearly $20,000 a pop.
