East Village Addicting Eats: Momofuku Noodle Bar

Momofuku Noodle BarMomofuku Noodle Bar may just be the mecca of NYC ramen. Some food enthusiasts say that the ramen and bun craze that has taken over Manhattan’s food scene started with this restaurant and its owner- David Chang, a Michelin starred chef, restaurateur, and entrepreneur. The menu at the noodle bar is simple but the food is not. There are 5 different types of ramen to order, some with multiple cuts of pork belly, pork shoulder and smoked chicken for the meat lovers. Other bowls come with pickled shiitake mushrooms, cabbage and cucumber, catering more to the vegetarian foodies. Whether there is meat or not, each bowl is slurp-worthy and addicting.
