Financial District Addicting Eats: Ramen Co.
When you’ve got the hankering for ramen, but it's just too damn hot out and the idea of chowing down on a bowl of soup seems heinous, Ramen Co. is the place to go. Not only does Ramen Co. have traditional style ramen (for under $12) they also have ramen burgers. What’s a ramen burger you might ask? It’s got pretty much the same ingredients as the soup version, just without the broth. Chinese noodles are fried into two separate patties, creating a caramelized and crunchy texture, serving as your buns of the burger. In between these two patties, the ramen fanatic is able to choose between Angus beef, moist teriyaki chicken, shredded beef or a tofu patty. Each of these choices are paired perfectly with toppings such as arugula, house special shoyu sauce and scallion. With a price of $8.04 for this masterpiece, Ramen Co. blows the other burger competition out of the water with ingenuity, creativity and affordability.
