To do it the Ghanaian way use the foufu as your fork and pinch off small pieces to mop up the good stuff. It gets messy for sure but it’s worth the effort, as the stew packs a mega flavor bomb. And if foufu’s not for you then go for the joloff rice with some more of that goat meat. In any case, the food here is serious, and the locals are more than willing to give you a few pointers on what to eat and how to eat it. Take their advice and you’ll be good to go.
