Who says fried chicken is only an American meal? Oiij is a newly opened Korean restaurant in the East Village, and its native Korean Co-owners/Chefs Brian Kim and TK Ku aim to refine authentic Korean cuisine. This National Fried Chicken Day, they are serving up Fried Chicken with Spicy Soy Vinaigrette, a dish with both Korean and Chinese influences. Coated in tapioca butter instead of a traditional thick flour batter, this dish is sure to please this National Fried Chicken Day!
