Bar Belly
Bar Belly, located on the LES, has a partnership with NYC's Billion Oyster Project called 'Shuck it Forward' which essentially gives back to the city's oyster beds. Guests can enjoy two 50/50 martinis with half a dozen oysters for $24. 10% of the proceeds go to the project's efforts to restore the beds. Visitors can also 'Shuck it Forward' by prepaying for a numbered oyster shell that dangles from the bar and represents one pairing.
