I may have been stuck inside for over two months now, but I am still not a barista, a baker, or an expert chef. I am however constantly haunted by the dreamy idea of sending a pal or loved one a freshly baked treat as a sweet hello.
Well, thank god for Uber Eats! They're making it even easier to spread the love and celebrate the spirit of giving with a brand new feature that lets users easily send food and beverages and the like to loved ones, with the option to directly share the delivery status with them.
The shareable, real-time tracking system is an amazing way to send your love across state lines, or even oceans, with just the tap of a button. Personally, I plan on sending my best friend in Philadelphia her favorite venti iced coffee concoction, a sausage, cheddar and egg sandwich, and a big bag of chocolate chip cookies to start the day off on the right foot!
To celebrate the launch, Uber has partnered with Starbucks and Bradbucks (if you haven't been watching Brad Goreski and Gary Janetti on Instagram, what are you even doing with your life right now!?) to encourage people across the country to #SendACup to friends and family.
"We’re so glad Uber Eats launched this new feature just when we needed it most. Now that I can send Starbucks to all the special people in my life, including Gary, there is so much less pressure on me to be a barista! And since it’s almost Mother’s Day, we chose to #SendACup to Gary's mom. We knew Felicia would be excited to get Gary’s all time favorite - a Grande Iced Caffè Mocha, no whip, almond milk, with only two pumps of mocha."
