The gorgeous, Ken Fulk-designed Felix Roasting Co. has been getting plenty of buzz since its opening in September, but, just in time for the full-on fall weather, a particularly extravagant menu item has started taking over our Instagram feed. If you have yet to make a pilgrimage, this one beverage may very well give you a reason to get there ASAP.
Behold, the Hickory-Smoked S’mores Latte. Though it may look like some wild cocktail concoction, we swear it's an appropriate (albeit extremely indulgent) midday pick-me-up. Made with espresso, steamed graham-cracker infused milk, 70% dark chocolate, and cinnamon, the seasonal sip is garnished with a house-made salted caramel marshmallow, torched to order, and then served beneath a bell jar smoking with hickory wood chips - practically a camping trip captured in a coupe glass.
It's surely not your typical grab-and-go coffee order, but it's definitely worth dedicating your entire lunch break to.
