The lead of this novel is Evelyn Hugo - a fictional hollywood icon that's as famous for her acting as she is for her seven husbands. Everyone is shocked when she chooses an unknown journalist with whom to share her life story. From the beginning of her career in Los Angeles during the 1950’s to her decision to leave show business thirty years later, Evelyn Hugo’s story is a page turner everyone is bound to fall in love with. I read this book all the way back in February, and it has stood still as my favorite book of the year.
