Hart Hagerty is the most charming woman in Charleston. Literally.
The jewelry designer's playful charm necklaces have quickly become a cult favorite among the fashionable crowd. The perfect, shiny way to express oneself!
Curious what's on the stylish creative's holiday wish list?
Us too!
How do you celebrate the holidays?
I feel lucky to say that we get to celebrate in my hometown, Charleston, where my parents and sisters still reside.
Where will you be this season?
By day, I will be at our new downtown showroom at 650 King Street helping people create custom charm jewelry for their last minute gifts. On Christmas day, we’ll celebrate in the 250 year old house where I grew upwith my siblings and parents.
Picture lots of little kiddos and dogs running around, Motown Christmas music albums playing, wrapping paper strewn about, a roaring fire, and too much red wine and traditional Charleston desserts - Charlotte Rousse, anyone?
Are you a last-minute or way-in-advance shopper?
Last minute. I’m trying to improve, however! I started a Note on my phone this year called “Gift Ideas” and jot down pings for loved ones as I think of them throughout the year. The next step is actually purchasing the gift in advance!
What's the best gift you've ever received?
Last year my husband gave me a large, beautiful easel and exquisite oil paints with a note encouraging me to paint more.
It’s a (humbling) passion of mine and I’m hoping I can find some time in the new year to keep learning and exploring.
What's your go-to hostess gift?
For a lady, I give one of our signature beaded bracelets wrapped around the neck of a bottle of Champagne.
Lately, I’m loving the Rainbow Gratitude.
Favorite spots to shop?
Support small businesses, whenever we can!
For luxe cosmetics, indulgent candles and skin care, I love Pout Cosmetics in Columbia, SC. They just launched their website, fortunately!
What's on your list to get?
A pair of sneakers or chunky loafers by Prada. I’m ready for my Golden Goose to hit the road….
What's on your list to give?
I commissioned the artist Isabel Bornstein to create a collage of our oldest daughter, Huguet, for my husband this year.
My lovely 88 year-old aunt-in-law hasn’t changed her makeup routine in decades. She recently borrowed some of my RMS concealer and the quality blew her mind. So I’m introducing her to the world of healthy, effective makeup!
