Sterling McDavid is in the business of good taste and good deeds. 

She's the Founder of fashion favorite luxury brand Burnett New York, heads up her own interior design firm (I mean, who wouldn't want to live in her Aspen home!?), runs Starling Project, a brilliant candle company providing solar energy to countries in need, and sits on the New York Board of Directors for UNICEF. Pretty impressive, no?

Lots of hosting! We are a family that loves to entertain so I will be spending too much time on holiday tablescapes and decorating.

Where will you be this season?
Miami for Hanukkah, Fort Worth for Christmas, Aspen for New Years and, of course, New York in between.

Way in advance.

What's the best gift you've ever received?
The Vinturi Vertical Wine Opener is a game changer.

What's your go-to hostess gift?
Starling candles, of course!

I am a big fan of vintage, handmade or customized items so Etsy is always my go-to for unique gifts. 

What's on your list to get?
I collect coffee table books so I'm always hoping to add to my collection. 

This year my list includes Architectural Digest: The Most Beautiful Rooms in the World.

Vintage barware. How beautiful are these?!
