Put Your Snacks Away
If you keep anything out on your kitchen counter, it should only be a bowl of fruit. A recent study indicates that people with visible unhealthy snacks in their home tend to weigh more than those without, or those who just have fruit on display. There's nothing wrong with indulging, just keep those sweets in the cupboard. That way, you'll know when you really want that snack, and are not being struck with a craving simply because you saw it.
