A Heart Healthy Hangover
According to Scientific American, alcohol has many health benefits. One of these being the fact that alcohol consumption helps increase HDL cholesterol within the body. This is the good kind of cholesterol that you want floating through you. It helps remove LDL (the bad stuff) from arterial walls and overall reduce the concentration of it within the body. Additionally it aids in the reduction of LDL oxidation, again reducing plaque formation and increasing heart health. If you've got a hangover though, we're pretty sure you've surpassed the beneficial range of number of drinks.
