How to stay healthy while traveling
It's easy to stay healthy when you're onto a normal routine and can cook whatever you want. We all have the excuse while traveling of not being able to cook and having no control. As much as I love staying in the lodge to drink a beer, there are few options to stick to any type of diet. For my caffeine fix, I was able to use Celsius, which was so easy to mix with my water and give me energy for the next run while burning extra calories. If I needed a coconut taste I got to have Briskbars which had as much caffeine as an espresso.While my family recovered on fried food, and delicious beer, I went the healthy route and had a Mushroom Matrix drink to recover from the lift. Mushroom right? Not sure why, but this superfood made me feel great after a long day of skiing; must be from all the Vitamin D and B (apparently a mood elevator). After this weekend, I felt energized and happy to not overindulge. If only I could take something to help me deal with some unwanted family members. That's a problem only wine can cure...
