Vogue Juice Is Spring's Hottest Accessory

by Millie Moore · April 3, 2017

Just in time for Spring, Pressed Juicery is releasing a limited edition line of candy colored lemonades with Vogue.

    Wait...what?

That's right, in honor of their 125th anniversary, Vogue - the magazine, the Bible - is collaborating with your favorite juice store. First up, we have pink lemonade, which is a total throwback to our lemonade stand days. This isn't the same thing though; it's actually loaded with superfoods to give your brain a boost and your skin a lustrous glow. It's packed with dragon fruit, rose water, honey, camu camu, goji berries, and, of course, lemon. Pink colored foods tend to be good for the skin, and dragon fruit is abundant with antioxidants. Next up, we've got the blue lemonade. It kind of brings you back to when food companies like Cheetos and Heinz released foods that were crazy colors back in the early 2000s. But this is less weird, we swear! The blue lemonade gets its oceanic tint from blue spirulina, which is one of the best nutritional supplements you can get from nature. It has tons of benefits and provides 80% of your required daily protein intake. This drink also has lemongrass, honey, and lemon.

These lemonades sound yummy and crazy good for you, but we have to ask, why Vogue? Are they pulling a Gwyneth and deviating from the glitz and glam and trying to make a mint off the fast growing New Age market? Kind of a weird way to ring in your 125th anniversary, right? And finally, why is a notoriously image obsessed magazine releasing a line of lemonades that will inevitably turn our teeth and tongues an electric blue or hot pink? Questions, questions. But we're still going to drink them.
