#2: DASH Diet

Coming in at number two is the DASH Diet, a "dietary approach to stop hypertension." It's the best way to prevent high blood pressure and ensure overall health. Promoted by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, the DASH approach encourages the consumption of blood pressure-deflating nutrients like potassium, calcium, protein and fiber (found in all the foods we already know are healthy) while cutting out foods high in saturated fats along with sugar-filled beverages.
