DO know everything about Instagram stories

The just-launched Snapchat-esque feature on Instagram left users confused and intrigued for a hot second before realizing this was just one more way to show off their *fabulous* life. Now, here's what you need to know about it. First, PEOPLE CAN SEE YOU LOOKING. Like Snap, it shows you who has viewed your story. Now if you follow someone, that's all well and good. But you can also view the stories of public accounts you don't follow by clicking on their Insta profile photo. If there's a rainbow circle around their photo, it means they've uploaded a story. If you're stalking someone you shouldn't be (like an ex or your ex's new girlfriend), accidentally clicking on their photo will bring you to their story and THEY CAN SEE THAT YOU VIEWED IT. For God's sake, be careful.
