Why are people protesting?
Why: "The one thing we all have in common is that we are the 99 percent that will no longer tolerate the greed and corruption of the 1 percent.” The 1 percent refers to the haves and the 99 percent refers to the have-nots. Or as someone said: “1 percent of the people have 99 percent of the money.”
Wondering if this will culminate in a beheading, à la Louis XVI and Marie-Antoinette. Someone should be having cake at this event... maybe.
