Man About Town: Scott Lipps On His Favorite Parties, What He Looks For In Models, And Much More!
Speaking of going out, have you felt nightlife has changed since you moved here? Is there anything you miss about it?
I used to love the Rose Bar. I thought it was incredible. So hopefully, whether it's TAO or whatever Nur is involved, we can kind of recreate that, because it was such a cool scene and it was sort of a meeting of all these great people. The closest thing I can...I wasn't around during the Warhol Factory, but these worlds were merging, where you would have these artists and musicians and actors and photographers and directors and fashionistas coming together. And it used to be, years ago when I used to go to Rose Bar, it wouldn't be that weird to see Mick Jagger at one table, Bill Clinton at another table, Kate Moss at another table, the Kings of Leon at another table, and I don't know, me and Nur holding down the fort at another table. So it was a cool combination of people, just bringing together all these worlds. I haven't seen that really since then, I haven't seen that kind of vibe, this sort of sexy candle lit Hotel Costes vibe in Paris, I miss those days.[Nur Khan, Scott Lipps via @guestofaguest]
