Affleck got his start as a child actor on The Voyage of the Mimi, a children’s show on PBS. In the early '90s, he appeared in films such as Richard Linklater’s Dazed and Confused and Kevin Smith’s Mallrats and Chasing Amy. He was catapulted to national super-stardom for his role in Good Will Hunting with friend and frequent collaborator Matt Damon.
