Holly Golightly, portrayed by Hepburn, sets the scene of the movie with the opening scene, a classic New York moment. A yellow taxi cab pulls up to Tiffany & Co. on the fashionable 5th Avenue, with Holly dressed in a little black Givenchy dress.
Hepburn was nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role, and although she did not win the Oscar that year, her role as Holly will forever be a New York City classic film.
