It's the scamming saga that never ends.
We all remember the Fyre Festival, the would-be influencer music fest in The Bahamas that quickly turned into an epic exercise in schadenfreude, leaving rich kids stranded in what was basically a refugee camp rife with cheese sandwiches and feral dogs.
Back in October, the mastermind behind the fraud, one Billy McFarland, was sentenced to six years in prison, and today, Netflix announced a documentary special set to unravel the mysterious shitshow.
Fyre, directed by Chris Smith and produced by Vice Studios (naturally), will provide "a first-hand look into the disastrous crash of Fyre as told by the organizers themselves."
It won't premiere until January 18th, but you can watch the trailer below:
