Last night's "Youth in Revolt" screening drew rebellious spirits of all age groups, from loony NJ Housewife Danielle Staub to tanned and gelled Vinny from The Jersey Shore, to Gossip Girl's threesome triumphant, Jessica Szohr.

Contributing to the collective works of tween drama making our generation's Catcher in the Rye, the book Youth in Revolt graced many of our bedside tables at one point or another. The new film adaption, starring Michael Cera, is gathering anticipation as the Friday release date approaches.
Last night's special viewing at Regal Cinemas in Union Square featured Cera's costar Zach Galigianakis, the funny man of the moment who brought painful hilarity to "The Hangover" and endearing comic relief to the amazing but as yet underrated "Bored to Death" on HBO. He joined momma in revolt Danielle Staub, looking none her age in pleather leggings, and the Gossip Girl's anti-Upper East Sider, who twirled in display of her comfortable sweater and leather ensemble, sans the unfortunate extensions she had sported of late. Also in attendance was Pete Wentz, who still channels revolt despite doing the whole dad thing. After the screening, an after party was held at La Pomme.
What with the world in upheaval, it does seem appropriate that everyone would be in revolt, right?
