Intelligence Squared US debates are nothing like your high school debate team days. Rather, this series is at once both forward-thinking and rooted in history: adhering to traditional Oxford-style debate guidelines, leaders in their respective fields tackle today's pressing questions about religion, politics, science, and more.
Intelligence Squared's 2012 Fall Season kicked off on September 12 with a debate on Super PACs and runs through early December. Upcoming events include "Better Elected Islamists Than Dictators" on October 4 and "The Rich Are Taxed Enough" on October 24. Sound controversial? Good. Grab your tickets, take your seats, cast your votes, and keep your mind open until the last words have been spoken.
