The Moth
Since its inception in 1997,
The Moth has taken traditional storytelling into the tech era. Today, the non-profit storytelling organization has a number of programs in New York City, across the country, and on the radio. The Moth's stages have hosted authors, actors, and adventurers - all of whom share their real-life stories in front of a live audience and without notes. There are plenty of opportunities to experience The Moth this fall with its Mainstage, StorySLAM, and GrandSLAM events.
On October 1, head to Brooklyn for an evening on stories about "Falling"; on October 7, get ready for a GrandSLAM (which features a showdown among 10 NYC Moth StorySLAM winners); and on October 9, enjoy a round of StorySLAM tales about "The Finish Line."
