When a $25 billion luxury real estate project is unveiled after nearly 20 years of planning, you know A-listers will be rolling through to help cut the metaphorical red ribbon. Last night, Hudson Yards turned into a 1,000,000-square-foot rager, spanning seven floors of shiny steel and glass - open bars and food and passed champagne wherever you turned. It certainly wasn't a mall opening you'd find in the suburbs.
The massive shopping center boasts over 100 luxury shops and eateries, including a giant Neiman Marcus, and each one seemed to host their own opening party - with their own celebrity guests.
Anne Hathaway, Dylan Sprouse, and Diane von Furstenberg were among those who admired the handiwork at Watches of Switzerland, while Karlie Kloss, Katie Holmes, Joan Smalls, and Whoopi Goldberg helped toast the new Neiman super-store, where Charli XCX and Liza Minnelli provided surprise performances. Among the photo-shy were Gisele and Tom Brady, who reportedly popped into the new Estiatorio Milos, and were then spotted at the exclusive after-party over at 15 Hudson Yards hosted by Paul Sevigny and André Saraiva.
All in all, around 13,000 guests funneled into the festivities. Click through for all the ones you'll recognize.
