Conservatory Garden
A true hidden jewel of the park, this secluded garden offers a calm escape from city life amidst carefully cultivated flowers and well-pruned hedges. There are always blooms in-season, such as heirloom roses, daffodils, magnolias, tulips and bluebells. Each of the three regions of the garden—designed in French, Italian and English styles—has a distinct feel and personality. The English garden (the southern-most section) is the least formal of the three; if you visit, be sure to stop to admire the Burnett Fountain, which is based on characters from the Secret Garden, and its surrounding reflection pool.
Enter east side from 104th to 106th Streets, at Fifth Avenue and 105th Street, or through the 106th Street gate inside the Park.
