Guess who is turning 100 today? One entire century ago the Grand Central Terminal was born to bring passenger rail travel to Manhattan in the heyday of the railroad industry. The opening was met by fanfare and celebration of over 150,000 visitors. Today people around the world can recognize New York by the trademark concourse and its signature clock making it a New York icon. Happy Birthday Grand Central, we may not be celebrating in the terminal today but we wish you 100 more years!
