Museum Day
What better way to spend a summer day with your date than exploring some of New York's best museums with a trip to the Upper East Side. Be sure that you are both prepared with comfortable walking shoes and water to make the most of your day.
Start at the Guggenheim and enjoy Frank Lloyd Wright's wonderfully designed museum that consistently offers unique exhibits. Head down Fifth to the Met Museum and choose two or three areas to explore. Don't forget to grab a drink on the roof and enjoy the beautiful view. If you are feeling tired, then there is always Central Park to rest. Make one last stop at The Frick Collection. Once a private residence, the Frick features one of the greatest collections of European art, sculpture and 18th-century French furniture in the country. Rest your feet in the museum's gorgeous courtyard. To finish off the day, head over to Sant Ambroeus on 78th Street and Madison Avenue to enjoy coffee and gelato with your date. Stick to these suggestions and your day will be extremely rewarding and fun!
