Why do you think an inclusive space like this is so important?
There are so many reasons not to go out, to feel excluded, to stay away from the goodness of human connection, and having a place where everyone can laugh and be at ease is the perfect antidote to that. And the only way to achieve that is to make it a place that inherently values all voices, especially those marginalized by many. All of our lineups are full of people who are queer, people of color. And it's obviously not some sort of quota - these are the people who are funny!
