New York's favorite crazy uncle, Bill Murray, who has a history of popping up in unexpected places around town, delighted Greenwich Village parkgoers and passersby in Washington Square Park on Wednesday when he gave an impromptu performance under the arch.
Joined by cellist Jan Vogler, violinist Mira Wang, and pianist Vanessa Perez, the actor put on a quirky little revue which included musical renditions of "It Ain’t Necessarily So" and West Side Story's "I Feel Pretty," along with a reading of Lawrence Ferlinghetti's poem, "Dog."
The likes of New York Nico's Nicolas Heller and former Real Housewives star Carole Radziwill were among those who caught the recital before the crowd got broken up by the Five-O.
Only in New York!
