'Tis the season to get sloshed - Santa style.
While you certainly risk ending up on the naughty list after a few glasses, the Refinery Rooftop's limited edition frozen eggnog is a must-try this month. The chilled concoction by In Good Company Hospitality’s Cocktail Curator, Will Benedetto, features the perfect blend of sugar, spice, and some much-needed rum.
Enjoy it during a festive night out with an amazing view of the Empire State Building and feel good about boozing - all proceeds from each drink purchased will be donated to the B+ Foundation (Pediatric Cancer Research & Awareness). You're literally getting drunk for a cause.
The best part? It's so easy to DIY (because we know you're going to want one of these when you head home for the holidays).
Refinery Rooftop's Frozen Eggnog
Ingredients:
2 large eggs
3 oz granulated sugar
½ tsp freshly grated nutmeg
pinch of cinnamon
6 oz whole milk
4 oz heavy cream
3 oz Pyrat XO Rum
Method:
In a bowl, whisk the eggs (or blend them in a blender) until smooth and creamy. Next, stir in granulated sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, milk, cream, and rum. Be sure to combine the ingredients very slowly while you stir. Pour into a glass of your choice and enjoy! For best results, let the eggnog chill overnight before serving. Serves 1-2.
