Just in time to join our friends across the pond in celebrating the queen's upcoming Platinum Jubilee on June 2nd, the High Line Hotel's charming British import, a 1957 London double-decker bus, has reopened for the season.
The crown jewel of the hotel's lush patio bar, Remote View, the bus dubbed Daisy has been lovingly restored with custom canine wallpaper, hat racks, quirky needlepoints, and British-themed accents decorating her interior cabin, adorably referred to as the Queen's Teapot.
With the warm weather now upon us, guests can enjoy the royal treatment at Daisy, including cocktails and light bites served al fresco on her intimate upper deck, overlooking the dreamy light-strung garden and the building's stunning gothic façade.
Stick to the British theme with a classic Pimm's Cup, or keep cool with frozen favorites like the Frozen Negroni, Rosé Frozé, and Frozen Lychee Daiquri. Guests of Daisy and Remote View can also try their luck and roll the dice for a chance to win a signature sip on the house. Win or lose, though, it's sure to be a successful summer outing.
