American Ballet Theatre Presents 14th Annual Culinary Pas De Deux

[All photos by Amber de Vos for PMc] American Ballet Theatre presented their fourteenth annual Culinary Pas de Deux yesterday evening at Pier 60. The Culinary Pas de Deux, hosted by Marcelo Gomes and Craig Salstein, benefits ABT's Spring Season at the Metropolitan Opera House.

The evening was a celebration of dance--including delicious cuisine, and decadent cocktails.

This year, ABT focused their energies on direct interaction with their followers by covering the event via  live Twitter feed. Guests and non-guests alike were encouraged to tweet questions to ABT dancers and guest chefs (questions were answered throughout the course of the evening).

ABT utilized their twitter feed to post photos, food and cocktail reviews, as well as promote their silent auction. Honorary Chair for the event, designer Christian Siriano, auctioned off one of his dresses as well as two VIP tickets to his September 2010 fashion show. Here are some of ABT's tweets:
