On Tuesday night the Children's Museum of Manhattan honored Andrew S. Ackerman for his two decades of service as the museum's Executive Director. The attendees dressed like adults but grinned like kids.-
The celebration featured playful decor, a film highlighting the museum's substantial accomplishments, and, in an un-childlike touch, free-flowing bubbly. We assume that in between speeches and hobnobbing, special guest Mayor Bloomberg tagged other attendees and tried to show off his big boy pants. Then he sipped his champagne and exclaimed, "The bubbles tickle my nose!" Then he fell asleep in a corner.
