Shari Belafonte, daughter of Harry Belafonte (Carmen Jones and Uptown Saturday Night, anyone? Petula Clark? Come on!) who at celebrated the opening of her latest exhibit, "Postcards From Cuba" at Chair And The Maiden with a party in benefit of the Mayor's Haiti Relief Fund and Fund Art Now.-

The exhibit features a series of images taken by Shari which reflect the effects of embargo and isolation of the Cuban People with the country's tourism industry. Ms.Belafonte recently started Fund Art Now, which seeks to bring global awareness of the importance of art.

The exhibit runs until May 16th.
