Mad Men's got the city wrapped up in a flurry of excitement, and NY ad agencies have a hard-partying reputation to live up to. Last night, Don Draper wannabes got their boozin' and schmoozin' on at ad agency Conversation's Last Thursday Party. The theme of this month's networking extravaganza was marketing through the ages, and a mixed bag of historic advertisements were displayed for leisurely viewing.

A little-known recipe for success is the harmonious combination of junk food and ads. While browsing creative ads for brands such as Coca-Cola, Hershey's and Reese's, guests quenched their thirst with an unlimited supply of none other than Coke (spiked with rum, of course). Hungry appetites were sated with delectable chocolate-peanut butter cupcakes and McDonald's quarterpounders.

As the night progressed, guests migrated to the two-level rooftop, where they mingled with fellow ad buffs, listened to music, and competed over friendly games of arcade basketball. A monthly three-floor party complete with some serious snacks, live DJ's, a sweet rooftop, and more importantly, a chance to re-enact our Mad Men dreams? We're totally there.
